Support Worker rates run from $23.15-$28.25 per hour.

Support Workers Wanted

Community Living is passionate about supporting people's lives through community inclusion and positive support practices. We support people with intellectual disabilities to improve their lives and live more independently.

We are seeking expressions of interest from people who wish to be employed as a support worker.


The ideal applicants will:

  • Have empathy and a passion to support people.
  • Support independent living, social engagement, appropriate communication and work  skills.
  • Role model positive values and attitudes.
  • Have a full NZ drivers licence.
  • Be legally entitled to work in New Zealand for at least one year.  


There are full time and part time positions available, which will at times include sleepovers, overnight awake shifts and weekend work.
