Benefits for Community Living Group Employees
Heathcote Appliances:
Corner of Tristram and Thackeray Street, Hamilton Branch only. Not a set % discount as it varies greatly depending on the product at the time. Show evidence of employment to receive your discount.
Life Insurance:
All permanent employees who work 20 hours or more per week with a minimum of 2 years' service automatically become members of Community Living's Group Life Policy Scheme. This scheme pays out a benefit, until age 70, of $75,000 upon death or diagnosis of a terminal illness. Your membership lasts for the length of your employment and can be kept on individually after leaving.
Long Service Leave:
Extra leave is given after 10, 15 and 20 years’ service.
Optometrist:
Specsavers and Visique - discounts on eye examination; glasses and contact lenses that can be used with other offers e.g. AA.
Bring evidence of employment e.g. copy of payslip to get your discount on a range of services.
Staff Referral Scheme
If you refer a new, permanent employee to the Community Living Group and they stay at least 6 months you will receive a referral payment.
Superannuation
KiwiSaver is a government initiative for retirement savings. Employees can build up savings through regular contributions from their pay of 3%; 4%, 6%, 8% or 10%. Community Living Group contributes an employer 3%.
Banking: ANZ@work
Discounts on loans; bank fees; insurance and credit cards. Let them know you work within the Community Living Group.
Counselling Services: EAP
EAP services provide an Employee Assistance Programme (EAP) that offers staff professional counselling assistance in times of need. This is a confidential service for employees to access support (work or non-work related) with up to 3, free sessions per matter. These sessions can be face to face; telephone, or e-counselling. Health Insurance: Southern Cross
Southern Cross provides a group scheme concession that offers discounted premiums to all employees. Employees who wish to join this scheme apply directly to Southern Cross.
Discount APP: Boost
You have access to the discounts while you remain an employee of Community Living.
Boost by n3 (formally Government Stores Board), has over 12,000 NZ businesses in their network. The Boost App enables holders to attract discounts in-store or online.
