A big welcome to Andrew Ellis as General Manager Finance. This is a new position following the organisational changes introduced in December 2024. Andrew was formally welcomed in the mihi whakatau in January but actually starts work on Monday, 24 February.
Andrew is a highly experienced finance leader. He joins us from Health NZ Te Whatu Ora where his most recent role has been Interim Finance Lead for Waikato District. Andrew has previously worked in the disability sector as General Manager Corporate for Kia Roha (formerly Life Unlimited) and through this role was part of the Waikato EGL Leadership Group. He is a member of the National Finance Committee of the Disabled Persons Assembly (DPA).
Andrew will report to me. He will lead the finance team and will be a member of the Leadership Team. Please join me in welcoming Andrew to Community Living.
