From Emma

“On Saturday the 15th of June we all got free rides on the train. Me and my flatmate Nicola along with our two staff went on Te Huia train from Frankton Hamilton. We got off the train in Auckland. We walked around Auckland, and went to a lovely market. Then we walked up Queen St to the Sky Tower it was fun! We had lunch at level 2 it was a nice restaurant. We all had burgers, chips and a drink for lunch. After lunch we had a look at the awesome casino.

After that we went to the Weta Workshop gift shop it was nice. Me and Nicki staff we went up two escalators. One escalator we went up was to the casino, the other escalator was fun. I was proud of myself for going up the escalator, then we all went outside the Sky Tower. I had a photo with Nicki staff.

Then we all went to Macpac to get Nicola some new clothes. After that we had a look at the train station it was cool. We all went to McDonalds. We all walked back to the train station at 530pm. We all got back on the train to go home we all bought some dinner at the café on the train at 730 pm”

– very cool! And a good reminder that Te Huia is free for people with disabilities. Thanks Emma, you’re in the draw for #clcreativecrew !
